The Celebration

We're so excited to invite you to our wedding! Please RSVP at your earliest convenience.

Our unique venue has numerous entrances, so please read the information on this page carefully to understand where to go and what to expect.

The Barbican is a huge, sprawling complex with numerous entrances, walkways and several different venues. As such, it is very easy to get lost! Please arrive at the Silk Street entrance (also known as the “main entrance”) only. Please do not attempt to access the venue via any other entrance. Barbican staff and members of our party will be at the Silk Street entrance to direct guests to the Conservatory.

Please note, the ‘Barbican Conservatory’ is a specific part of the ‘Barbican Centre’, which is different to ‘Barbican’ tube station. As such, please DO NOT put ‘Barbican’ into your Maps app in order to find the venue.  Please enter ‘Silk Street, EC2Y 8DS’ to get to the right place.

Getting There

The ceremony, reception and party will all take place in the same event space. It is not possible to exit and re-enter the Conservatory once you have arrived (e.g. no quick popping to the shop - just imagine we’re actually in the tropical jungle!)

Please bring everything you might need to stay for the full day (medications, cigarettes, etc.) We will be keeping you well fed throughout the celebration.

No Escape!

Please RSVP at your earliest convenience, no later than 1st June. Please RSVP for the names listed on your mailed invite only. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate +1s due to guest count restrictions for our venue.

If you have any questions, please contact the bride or groom.

RSVPs

We’ll be meeting at The Army and Navy (N16 8NN) at 1pm on Sunday 9th August for a post-wedding meet up. This is totally optional to attend, but you are more than welcome to join if you’d like to hang with the wedding party one last time before departing.

The Day After

We ask that no guests wear an all white dress or all white top and skirt, or in a similar colour (cream, ivory, beige, vanilla, etc.)

The Conservatory is likely to be quite hot in August, so please feel free to prioritise staying cool over formal wear. It is advisable to bring a personal fan. The full day will take place indoors, and there will be a cloakroom for coat/bag drop off.

Aside from that, there is no official dress code. Creativity is encouraged baby ✨

Dress Code

We do not expect or require any gifts. With guests travelling across the country, and our London friends being an invaluable support network, we feel gifted enough already and really mean it when we say that the greatest gift you could bring is your best moves on the dancefloor!

For those still wishing to give a gift, we are gratefully accepting honeymoon fund donations on this link

For guests visiting London, there are numerous hotels within walking distance to the Barbican, and many more across London. We suggest London Zones 1-3 in any borough north of the river Thames.

We would be more than happy to help you booking accommodation, please reach out to the bride or groom for assistance.

Accommodation

The Barbican is a residential estate. Please treat the venue with respect throughout the day, and be courteous when leaving. The Conservatory is home to numerous beautiful and endangered plants so we ask that you take special care not to disturb or interfere with them in any way.

Keeping it Lovely
